Now you can track live satus of train via “Rail Radar”
The Centre for Railway Information Systems (CRIS), the information technology (IT) arm of the Indian Railways, launched Rail Radar, which allows the public to track train movement.
The service is running in beta at railradar.trainenquiry.com,
and it is currently programmed to track 6,500 of the total 10,000
trains operated by the Indian Railways. Rail Radar gives information
about a train’s arrival at the various stops on its route, and displays
its location on the country’s map.
Currently, RailRadar is configured to update/refresh itself every
five minutes, which means that in any scenario, the location and status
of the trains displayed on Rail Radar will always be five or more
minutes delayed. CRIS had announced the launch of the app at NAMA
conference hosted by Medianama in Gurgaon.
